Another update on a classic, the whimsical Mother Goose Rhyme Blocks by Uncle Goosehelp children to learn traditional nursery rhymes. They are proudly made in the U.S.A. Great for block play, early reading, or as a nursery decoration. They are also a good addition as a family heirloom.

Each 1 3/4" square block is embossed on opposite ends with two silhouette images from classic Mother Goose stories. The nursery rhyme text is printed consecutively on the four remaining sides. Set C contains the following traditional nursery rhymes: Pussycat Pussycat; Jack Be Nimble; Sing a Song of Sixpence; Mary Had a Little Lamb; Hey Diddle Diddle; Little Miss Muffet; Old Woman Who Lived In a Shoe; One Two Buckle My Shoe; and Little Robin Redbreast. Collect all three sets.

A recent study reported in the October 2007 issue of Archives of Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine finds a strong association between playing with building blocks and a significant increase in language scores in young children.
