The Vilac Number Magnets are made of sustainable wood, magnets, and non-toxic lacquers. They are designed in France by one of the oldest toymakers in Europe and expertly made in China under stringent safety and quality controls. Certified child-safe and non-toxic.

Deep in the heart of the Jura surrounded by mountains, lakes and forests, between Champagnole and Saint-Claude, Vilac has been manufacturing wooden toys in Moirans-en-montagne for more than 80 years.
Vilac was founded by Narcisse Villet in 1911 as a wood turning workshop - espcializing in finely lacquered wooden toys. Thus named - Vilac ("Vi" from Villet and "lac" from lacquer). Today, the ageless and durable wood-turning technique endures in the lasting appeal of Vilac toys.
Many of Vilac toys are still made in France. Others are made in Taiwan and China under stringent safety and quality controls. All meet or exceed established North American (CPSIA) and European (CE) safety standards and are further certified to be child-safe and non-toxic.
