How CSA Works
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) allows consumers to buy local, seasonal food directly from a farmer. In essence: The farmer offers a certain number of "shares" to the public. Shareholders then receive a box, bag, or basket of seasonal vegetables and possibly other farm products each week throughout the farming season.

Tiny's Organic Member Weekly Pick Up - freshly picked organic fruits and veggies from June to November.
How the CSA Partnership Works
Crops are harvested from Tiny’s Organic Farm in Wenatchee, Washington on Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday, it drops member bags full of freshly-picked fruits and vegetables at ChildTrek for member pick up. ChildTrek helps with storage and distribution. Members pick up their weekly bag on Wednesday, 3 - 7 pm.

Tiny’s currently has pick-up sites in Seattle and the Eastside. It has not had a community location in Tacoma until ChildTrek’s offer to help. ChildTrek is an ideal pick-up site in that it is conveniently located in a nexus of neighborhoods – Tacoma, Gig Harbor, Fircrest, University Place, and Lakewood.

The partnership needs at least 15 signed-up members to launch the Tacoma CSA program. Harvest season is from June to November.

Interested individuals should pick up a CSA member application at ChildTrek or go to Tiny's Organic for more info. If you sign up before June 11, you save 22% on the membership.
