miYim was founded by John Chae who has been making toys for 30 years. In 2002, his wife, Doreen, was diagnosed with cancer. With various treatments, Doreen began to regain her health. This experience led John and his family to think about a healthier way of living from the food they eat to every aspect of living, including what is given to children. This eventually prompted John to create toys that are made with the highest standards for health and safety.
