About the Founder
Miebeth Bustillo-Booth was a former high school English and history teacher as well as a public policy director for a large educators’ association. Prior to these experiences, she held positions involving education technology and website development. She was also a higher education policy analyst in the Washington State House of Representatives and a Governor-appointed executive director for a small Washington state agency. Among Miebeth’s interests are childhood development, education, environmental stewardship, and worldwide prosperity.
Miebeth has a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative History of Ideas and a Master of Public Administration in Education and Social Policy both from the University of Washington. She has a Master of Arts in Teaching from Pacific Lutheran University. Miebeth lives with her husband Bart and daughter Xondra in Tacoma, Washington.
